Prestige Portraits offers FREE portrait sittings to be taken at the GBHS East Cafeteria. Please see the school newsletter and yearbook social media outlets for dates, times, and scheduling.
This option ensures your senior photo will be published in the yearbook and guarantees a professional photo that will meet the yearbook requirements for background and quality.
Once your photos have been taken and professionally edited, you will receive an email with options to select your photo and/or purchase prints. You will need the session ID and access code given to you in the email you provided Prestige to access your photos online.
Choose your photo from the Prestige website by October 1, or Prestige will choose for you. Prestige will send the photo to Jostens.
Provide your own portrait from a professional photographer. Do not attempt to take your own photo at home. Lighting and retouching make your portrait special.
If you choose a photographer outside of Prestige, it is your responsibility to provide them with this sheet. You must adhere to the specifications listed and submit your chosen photograph by the strict deadline of October 31 via the website.
Submitting a portrait that does not meet the school’s specifications or missing the deadline will result in the yearbook staff using the most recent ID photo on file for your portrait.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER MUST SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO
BY OCTOBER 31 TO JOSTENS:
Pose: Traditional head and shoulders pose (full face and shoulders; no hands, objects, or props.)
Attire: Dress in a neat and respectful fashion. Nice shirt/top without text printed on it.
Background: Medium to dark gray or blue (indoors against a professional studio backdrop).
Editing: Properly exposed, real-to-life color, no filters. Do not crop photos.

Print Size: 2"x3" with a head size of precisely 1 3/8"
Resolution: 300 DPI
File Type: .jpg
Save As: LastName_FirstName
Do NOT email photos. We have hundreds of seniors.
Submission: Senior portraits taken by local professional photographers must be submitted digitally through the link.
Late Deadline and Fee: Late deadline is November 14. Late fee is $25.
If you submit two photos, the yearbook staff will select the one they feel is of the best publishing quality. If you do not submit a photo, the yearbook staff will use the most recent ID photo on file for your portrait.
