CTE prepares students for future education and workforce opportunities and allows them to combine learning with real-world experiences.
Career & Technical Education (CTE) serves as a critical strategy for preparing students for future education and workforce opportunities. The program develops crucial academic, technical, and employability skills. CTE can also help address the increasing skills gap—a disparity between the skills job-seekers offer and the skills that employers need. Today’s cutting-edge, rigorous, and relevant CTE programs prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.
